Over & Over again…
As a lad, I was deeply involved in learning Tamil verses and who else in a city of Madras had impeccable dialogue delivery, a great voice perfectionist, a theatrics and one of the greatest script writers and stage play artist. I have always loved and listened to stage play at all times in my life.
I have a particular interest in stage plays. The drama with a specific concept goes to make you laugh all the time. The way the voice is delivered will make you recollect the whole scene in your mind and for sure the guy from Mylapore has taken the Tamil arena to a intelligent height that no other known comedian can reach.
He is special; I would like to add, the great Shri. S.Ve.Shekher. Claps.
S.Ve.Shekher is a naturalist; I have loved to hear his voice dynamics when it changes. Its cool to hear in the audio than the video. I don’t admire him as much as do in the audio. His drama are unique with punch lines, double meaning and line 2 line comedy, a specialty that only Tamil and Malayalam and Marathi could deliver. I have heard the language slang so rich with minimum and timed breaths. You have to hear it all alone and wait to think and laugh, as a same line has word 2 word comedy, line 2 line meanings and sentence to sentence grouped critics to laugh and enjoy.
A broader plays that ruled the stage after 2000 were mostly written and thought of post films. Even thought it conveys originality towards stage plays, the story line may be picked up from a running movie.
His double dialogue deliverable are amazing and prick you sometime not to laugh aloud but understand it with a smile and think it over. S. Ve. Shekar writings are clear indications of the society in his age, the language, the slang and the day to day affairs is reflected deeply in his plays. His plays may not me apt to a family at all times, most of his writings are casual and doesn’t censor what is required few times. This can be seen as a bold writer to deliver scripts. His political or film representations of writings are bold and provides a pun to a date event in time.
On the movies that he has acted, I don’t admire his acting skills; What ever I have observed him is mostly amateur and looks silly in silver screen.
Another impressive quality of SVS is that is deeply involved in helping the need and wears a National flag at all times.
