Value of Time (VoT)

Confusing Time's

Confusing Time's

In transport economics, the value of time is the opportunity cost of the time that a traveler spends on his/her journey. In essence, this makes it the amount that a traveler would be willing to pay in order to save time, or the amount they would accept as compensation for lost time.

The article is not about economics, but damm my time.

Im sure, no one in the world knew better than me the Value of Time (VoT), because everyone uses it and I waste it.

 I don’t work for time.

At times, I am proud to say it like that, but listen to, how I waste my time.

 It’s a kill.

Sitting in a room from 6:15 PM to next day 9:00 AM, doing nothing.

Nothing to watch,

No one to speak to

Nothing to hear

No friends to share feelings,

No relations to share emotions,

No books to read & write

Just sit in my bed and watch the power go and come all the time, in the dark, inside a wild silence and thousands of thoughts that keep coming round and round my head.

To do this or not, to eat this or not, to smoke or not, to drink or not, then to do what?

Eat What? Smoke What? Drink What? And then to decide on deciding something.

 It’s a kill.

My family stays 400 miles away from me. I travel each week starting on a Friday 3:00 PM to reach them on a Saturday 8:00 AM and then travel back on starting on Sunday 6:10 PM to reach on Monday 9:00 AM. I have been doing this for a year now, each week, each Friday, each Sunday my travel gets annoying. I keep uploading my phone with 1000 of new tracks just to listen on the travel. Sometimes the music just plays in my ears and my mind keep thinking round and round on the problems I have.

I am stressed, depressed and annoyed of the life what I have now.

There were several things I use to do on a day when my family was with me.

Play with my daughter, teach her, learn from her, go hit the gym spend some quality 2 hours, swim, go for a horse ride twice a week, hit a boxing ring once in a week, drink once in a week, see a movie twice in a week and read a book daily. There were even paintings, art, music and taking my family out for shopping that I use to do along with this parallel to my office job that runs from 10:00 to 6:00.

I dint find time to be a constraint. I never wanted more time to organize myself. I do them in a course, I do them because I had to, I do them because I enjoyed it. Now I have no work, sitting idle all the time, all the time, just to kill it.

It’s a kill to kill time.

I am stressed, depressed and annoyed of the life what I have now.

What do you think, I am? What can I do? – Questions to my virtual friends
